Technical Note on CD Capacity

The size (in MB) displayed in the content view window will differ from the size shown in the CD writer dialog. In the content view window, 1MB=1,000,000 bytes whereas in the CD writer dialog, 1MB=1,048,576 bytes. This is so the CD writer is consistent with CDR media labeling which displays the capacity in "true megabytes" (a true megabyte is 1024 * 1024 bytes). Also note that there are 23 megabytes of overhead for multi-session data CDs, so even if you have a 74 minute, 650MB CD, it's actual capacity for a Media Center data CD will be 627MB.
