Removal

To remove Media Center:

•

Go to Start | Settings | Control Panel | Add/Remove Programs.

•

Select "Media Center" in the list.

You then have two options:

Remove all Media Center registry entries.

Say yes to this if you want all traces of Media Center completely removed from your computer, including all customization (toolbar, equalizer & dsp settings) as well as plug-ins, "mini-me" settings and Media Editor settings.

Remove Media Center library files.

Warning: Selecting this option will remove all library information, including all Playlists and customized Media View settings. Make a backup of your library (File | Library | Backup Library) before selecting this option, so that you can restore it in the future if you change your mind.
