Select the image and do one of the following:

If all you have in Playing Now are images, Media Center will open in full screen mode, displaying the images in the Playing Now Playlist. Select Escape to return to the regular Media Center View.
To change this default behavior, go to Tools | Options | General, and select from the available items under “Jump on Play”. See General Settings for details on each available option.
