View Schemes

With Media Center you can sort your files based on all kinds of criteria. In Media Library you can define your own "View Scheme", which is basically a list of prioritized groupings (or filters) of your library. You can create Schemes by combining any of the default groupings (including artist, album, genre, year, bitrate and type), as well as user-defined Playlist Groups or search terms in any order that suits you.

Example schemes

Nationality / Artist / Album

Decade / Genre / Sub genre

Artist / Source / Album

Preference / Source / Bitrate / Artist / Year / Tempo / Genre / etc. / etc. / etc.

Tempo

The italicized items refer to Playlist Groups or Custom Fields.

Default Schemes

Media Center comes with four default View Scheme Groups: Audio, CD & DVD, Images and Video.

Expand these schemes (click on the "+" sign next to them) to display the default View Schemes in each group.
