Navigate in Media Editor

 

There are a lot of ways to cruise around the view. Using the buttons on the toolbar and menu is a good start. Here's an overview of how to do most things:

Zooming. You can zoom by using the menus, toolbar, or the mouse wheel. You can also zoom to whatever you have selected by using the middle mouse button.

Moving around. To move around, look at the red bar at the bottom of the wave (below the time scale). This is like a scroll bar. The length of the entire bar represents the whole file, and the red portion represents what you're currently viewing. You can click anywhere in the black to move the view window (red) to that location, or you can drag the red view window around. You can also use the left-right arrows in the bottom right corner to page left and right.
