Import Files

 

From Windows Explorer

1.

Select the file(s) you want to import using Windows Explorer.

Right click and select Media Center | Import

From Media Center

Go to Tools | Import Media.

The default search will search “All Local Drives” for the standard file types

To search a specific local drive, select the drop down menu, and choose your drive.

To search a specific folder or a network drive, select "" then browse to the folder or Network Neighborhood, and find the drive.

To search for files types other than the standard ones, select the "Advanced" tab.

Click on Start Search

By default, Media Center is set to do the following: search for all file types, ignore files that are less than 5 seconds long, and search for files in subdirectories. To change any of these defaults, click on the Advanced tab in the Import Media Files dialog box..

When changing the file types, you can use these three buttons

From left to right: Select all file types, select none, and use the default setting, which selects Standard File Types..
